Turnkey systems

Reliable WAAM deposition needs a lot more than a motion system and a welder put together. Our turnkey systems feature established motion systems, our end-effector with its suite of sensors, a choice of power sources matching material and process requirements, shielding solutions, and ancillary processes like machine-hammer-peening, top surface machining, and forced cooling, to deliver a real industrial WAAM solution. The entire system can be controlled from the operator's desk thanks to our own WAAMCtrl software package, which complements our WAAMPlanner + WAAMKeys for path-planning and parameters allocation.

The smoothness, cleanliness and control of plasma-transferred-arc as choice of deposition process make it suitable for challenging geometries and materials. Its independent control of material feed and energy input enable superior parameters compensation to ensure adequate geometry control. Moreover, its lower deposition temperature results in less harmful by-products and insignificant porosity.
