Automatic calculation of primary process parameters

Going from building a simple feature to a real part can be challenging, if you have to develop and tweak parameters on your own. This step can be automated thanks to our WAAMKeys. Depending on material, geometry and deposition process, our algorithms automatically populate the tool-path plan with all primary process parameters. You can focus on building parts, rather than developing processes. WAAMKeys come with three different level of power and automation, depending on materials and processes. Advanced Level 2 algorithms can be provided only for processes with independent control of material feed and energy input, for superior quality and integrity.

User interface for direct input of own parameters – ideal if you want to do your own development, or work with a new material that we don't have in our database.

Automatic loading of baseline process parameters – depending on the material, a baseline set of process parameters is provided. Suitable for processes without independent control of wire feed speed and power.

Automatic loading of fully-compensated process parameters – depending on material, geometry, build strategy, and machine architecture, several sets of process parameters are calculated and attached to the tool-path plan. Suitable for processes with independent control of wire feed speed and power, for maximised structural integrity, and control of geometrical parameters.
