The most precise, stable and clean arc process, suitable for small to medium scale parts. Fully independent material and energy feed rates, enabling full thermal and geometry control.​

PTA Advanced End-Effector

Additional wire feeding capability. Each wire can be controlled independently in terms of feeding timing and wire feed speeds. Wires with the same composition can be fed simultaneously to increase deposition rates. Wires with different composition can be fed to produce new alloys in-situ, or produce functionally graded materials. No physical changes of setups are required, it all happens within the same head.​

The melt pool is established, material is deposited, and the on-board sensors deliver data to WAAMCtrl, right to the operator’s eyes and ears in real time.

Measure the layer height and reconstruct the 3D shape of the deposit thanks to ShapeTechTM to continuously verify the geometry’s accuracy.

Monitor pre-deposition and post-deposition temperatures with two advanced pyrometers. This ensures a consistent start temperature and cross-checks the robustness of process parameters.
