WAAM3D today announces a leadership transition as Filomeno MARTINA steps down from his role as Chief Executive Officer after six years at the helm. As one of the founding members of the company, Filomeno has helped shape WAAM3D from its early academic roots at Cranfield University into the thriving commercial entity it is today.
The Board of Directors, management, and staff express deep appreciation for Filomeno’s dedication, and contributions over the past years, establishing WAAM3D as a leader in its field, and our best wishes accompany him in future endeavours.
As WAAM3D moves forward, its trajectory remains unchanged. Co-founders Stewart WILLIAMS and Jialuo DING, who have been key architects of our technology since inception, will continue to drive innovation and development of the Company’s products and offerings. Their expertise and leadership ensure that WAAM3D stays ahead of its competition, delivering valuable solutions for customers.
During this transition, Chee Weng LEE, will assume the role of Interim CEO. With more than 30 years of operational and management experience in precision manufacturing, Chee Weng has been a Director of WAAM3D since its founding and currently serves as the Managing Director of Addept3D, a joint venture between WAAM3D and Accuron Technologies. His deep understanding of WAAM3D’s operations and strategic direction will help drive the company’s next phase of growth, while enabling the team to stay true to its innovative spirit.
Accuron Technologies will continue its role as a strategic investor to WAAM3D, supportingits development and scale up the adoption of WAAM for their customers globally.
