RoboWAAM® Advanced features the highest payload, largest build volume and the most on-board sensors of all the wire-DED systems out there.
RoboWAAM® Advanced can be easily reconfigured to accommodate wide-area parts with tooling of various sizes, or rotational components.
It works seamlessly with the programmes generated by WAAMPlanner. It is managed by WAAMCtrl, the operating system overseeing the whole of the build process, providing process monitoring and governance over the many health and safety capabilities, as well as fully auditable process trail.
Delivered via the ergonomic control centre, large wire payload, advanced electronics, automatic control of atmosphere, all in combination with our signature end-effectors.

External bulk wire storage accommodating large spools (70kg) or drums (250kg), for longer uptimes and reduced operator intervention. Wires can be replaced from the outside without breaking the inert atmosphere (if global shielding is deployed).

Much more than a welding torch needs to go at the end of a robot. Our end effectors measure temperatures, provide melt pool imaging, house ShapeTechTM, and with the local-shielding option they also protect reactive materials from oxidation. For PTA options, they also feature automatic positioning of the wire within the plasma arc, to further ensure consistent deposition.
